Making Memories from a small town point of view. We're a small town Mom and Pop video business that's been 'Makin Memories' since 1984. We've been thru bunches of video formats from VHS thru 4K and worn out bunches of video cameras. Mesquite Trees, Drone's , Pasture Land and Chreechville Road !
So, mesquite trees are great if your needing wood to smoke your brisket or any number of other Texas BBQ treats, but they will overtake pasture land . And, it's not easy to have them 'cleared' from your land, but it can be done. Take a look, take a little before and after viewing from a spot on good old Chreechville Road.

At 4:36, you can see the Max. Load rating of (what I believe to be) 25,000 LBS. Had this measurement been written in Kilograms, this job would have never been attempted.
I'll have to admit, I'm not a Kilogram type guy myself. And, yes, I do believe it's a 25,000 Pound rating . Thanks for the comment, take care out there !

well,,,,,at that particular point in time,,,,,the hellocopter has/had Erickson Sky Crane painted on it, and sure,,,Sikorsky designed and built the Air Crane,,,,and also ,,,,,,,I have been recently in touch with the AES Mechanical Company and as I understand that company,,,,the AES group has recently been 'bought' by Lennox Air Conditioning,,,,,,,So,,,,,, things do change and like they say,,,,Life goes On. I was part of that team that built and install all of the units and was responsible for removing every once of freon from every single unit back at our office in weatherford,tx it was a few years ago but we had a great team i really miss all those guys.we all had a great time.

I was a CH54 Skycrane flight engineer in Vietnam, picking up many combat support payloads in 1968, a superior heavy lift helicopter, many thanks Sikorsky for designing such a vital and great aviation asset for the Military

Worked with these guys 25 years ago at GM plant in N.J. The helo was called The Incredible Hulk 🤣🤣😀👍 Was about 15 degrees w / ice and snow on the ground .When ole boy fired up those engines the ice blowin felt like small needles hitting my face, pilot said engines had 70,000 h.p. Felt like my face was being sandblasted 😀👍👍👍👍🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

Some friends and I were kayaking on a river and one of these was flying full stems of trees across the small canyon to a landing. Amazing to see the huge logs swinging right there above us and the water being churned from the rotor wash. Incredible power. Not to mention pilot skill.

It's hard to comprehend just how big these aircraft are. A friend of mine parked his EC135 beside a Skycrane that was fighting bushfires here in Australia and took a photo for comparison - the tail rotor of the sky crane was fully half the diameter of the EC135's main rotor.
Also if you happen to be 'close' to one when it spools up and can feel the down wash as it takes off,,,,,it is AMAZING ! Thanks for comment
Can someone explain to me why the rotor on these and some other helicopters is tilted to one side? Is it to counter a natural torquing force or does it offset gyroscopic precession in a way that corrects a handling characteristic? Or maybe something else?

Thanks for posting this. I can watch my grandson a little more. It was an exciting 2nd half without the ending we wanted but they played with a lot of heart being down so much in first half.
